Meet the Team

Dr. Christina Dayton-Wall DVM

Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Christina Dayton-Wall was born and raised here in Lincoln, Delaware.  Attending Randolph Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virgina, she obtained her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  She completed her veterinary studies at the University of Georgia in Athen’s, GA, earning her DVM in 2007.

 

She began her veterinary career in a mixed animal practice in Covington, GA where she practiced for 6 years before returning home to Delaware.  While in Georgia, Dr. Dayton-Wall obtained her certification in Animal Chiropractic Care; additionally, she developed an interest in, and began performing, Acupuncture Therapy for dogs, cats, and horses.  As time has gone on, She has increased her focus in other alternative therapies, including Laser Therapy and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Frequency Therapy.

 

Dr. Dayton-Wall loves providing both traditional and alternative care to a wide variety of animals, including not only dogs, cats, and horses, but also goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, and various fowl such as chickens and turkeys.  Her husband, Adam, assists with general maintenance around the clinic, and then bass fishes.  They have a daughter, Gracelyn, who also loves animals, including the families’ horses, chickens, dogs, and cats.  In her time away from work, Dr. Dayton-Wall enjoys riding dressage and competes at the FEI level with her mare, Wonderful Pearle.  She also loves to exercise and garden, where she has developed quite a thing for orchids.

Dr. Theresa Ford VMD

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Theresa Ford is a seasoned veterinarian with a rich background in both clinical practice and community service. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Villanova University, followed by her veterinary degree (VMD) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1986.

Dr. Ford has dedicated her career to small animal practice, including significant experience at a local emergency clinic. She is passionate about preventative health care and excels in providing thoughtful guidance for referrals when necessary.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Ford embraces the great outdoors. She delights in bird watching, photography, and bike riding, and actively participates in field trials with her Labrador Retrievers. Her commitment to the canine community extends to her long-standing role with the Delaware State Police Canine Unit, where she has contributed her expertise for over 34 years.

Dr. Grace Montgomery DVM

Associate Veterinarian

After many years in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Grace Montgomery is excited to be back on the East Coast, where she spent much of her childhood. 

 

Dr. Grace completed Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Animal Sciences from Washington State University, where she also earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2024. Her professional interests include internal medicine, feline medicine, and the care of small ruminants, camelids, and pet pigs. Dr. Grace developed an interest in large animals as a member of a llama and alpaca 4-H club, and through hands-on experience working at the WSU dairy farm during her undergraduate years.

 

Dr. Grace particularly enjoys working with hobby farmers and pet livestock owners, and is committed to developing practical, personalized care plans that work for each animal and the people who care for them.

 

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Grace enjoys arts and crafts, cooking, reading, spending time at the beach, and doting on her Standard Poodle and cat. 

Our team showcases a diverse range of expertise, encompassing emergency care, surgical procedures, rehabilitation and physical therapy, animal shelter management, large animal medicine, and exceptional customer service. Each member brings unique skills and insights, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care for all our patients.
